Jen and Elsie on their travels

We have all been enjoying our summer break from preschool and nursery. We had a lovely day last week pottering in the garden, the kiddies enjoyed bug spotting and washing up bath toys along with football and climbing frame activities. We have also had lots of trips to the park to continue developing those bike riding skills!


Bethany and Callum stayed at Gran and Grandpa John's house this week so Jen and Elsie went to visit Fran, Paul and Max. We had a lovely time, eating cake and drinking tea whilst Max and Elsie conversed, kicked, giggled and occasionally held hands:-)


On the way back to Reading Jen and Elsie popped in to see Great Grandma. Its the first time that we've visited Grandma in her new home in Gloucester and she was on great form. Great Grandma looked really well and thoroughly enjoyed her cuddles with Elsie.

Bethany and Callum had a lovely time away and returned very weary on Friday morning. On the plus side we have had two mornings in a row when Bethany and Callum have slept until 0700. Elsie has only been having one feed in the night so I actually got a 5 hour sleep all in one go one night! I will have cursed it all for tonight so no doubt I will be very tired tomorrow.
