Happy birthday Alexander

A lovely day spent at the The Nook celebrating Alexander's 6th birthday. Great to spend the sunniest day of the year running around in the garden, eating lovely food, splashing in a paddling pool and supping wine:-)

Its been a busy old week for The Davidsons... there are constant house decisions to be made at the moment, Mark is very busy at work and we also had 'parents evening' at Bethany and Callum's nursery. We're pleased to report that our kids do not appear to be bullying anyone! It was nice to have our observations reinforced and gave us confidence that both of the children are really settled there at the moment.

Callum's chat continues to advance rapidly and he now quite comfortably mimics 1 to 10 when organising his cars. He spends hours pushing the cars around the table. This week he has also learnt to jump - taking two feet of the ground. Generally he lands on his bottom - the padding of a nappy is a wonderful thing.

A tired Bethany can be quite hard work and she can be quite naughty / hard to deal with, but when Bethany has had the sleep she needs she is a really joy to be with and can't do enough to help... If only she understood that waking up at 5.15 is not conducive to 'getting enough' sleep!
