And another 3.5 months whizz by

Since I last wrote there is lots to report.

Helen (Mark's sister) and James had the lovely little Oscar, who arrived safely into the world at the start of August, so we rushed up to meet the young man over the August bank holiday weekend. It was great to see everyone and get some cuddles with Oscar. We also enjoyed the wonderful Scottish summer which was wet, wet, wet!

We were slightly luckier with the weather when we returned to Scotland for our holidays at the beginning of October. We had a great 10days, spending lots of time outdoors walking the dogs. We also spent a morning at the Botanical gardens in Glasgow - well worth a visit, and we went up to Loch Katrine and did a boat ride followed by a cycle ride back along the Loch side... the kids were in one of those bike trailers... it was a great day out.

Returning from Scotland we did a couple of settling in sessions for the kiddies at their new nursery nr Reading. They had to move nursery because my job relocated to Paddington from October 1st. This has actually worked out really well for us and the kids have settled brilliantly at their new nursery.

Callum now walks with real purpose / attitude. He is quite clingy and likes to have mummy or daddy in sight, but his confidence is growing. He is still a fussy eater, but now insists on feeding himself, refusing to accept help from anyone!

Callum chatters away can definitely say, Mummy, Daddy, 'read me' - as he hands you a book!, down and quack quack! What more does the boy need?
He has become a waterbaby just like his sister and now swims confidently with the aid of a woggle/noodle.

Bethany continues to grow up rapidly. Her speach is now very conherent and her vocabulary grows eveyday. In September Bethany started going to a local preschool a couple of mornings a week and thoroughly enjoys this. She is a very confident little bunny and seems to take most things in her stride, although all these new activities and her head strong independence means she can get incredibly tired... that's not fun for anyone!

Well best get back to work... I will try and post some pictures soon.
