Long overdue update!

Sorry it’s been such a long time since the last update.

Bethany is now the queen of rolling and can pivot 360 degrees on her tummy. Crawling still seems quite a distant possibility as Bethany can’t lift her tummy of the ground… It has to be said that we are not positively encouraging this next milestone in her development!!! There are lots of ornaments and sharp corners which will need to be addressed once crawling is established!!!

We celebrated Mark’s first Father’s day and went for a lovely walk and picnic. It was one of those spontaneous days that are always really great fun.

Last Thursday we finally got around to purchasing a highchair which Bethany seems to love and has certainly been experimenting to find all the different nooks and crannies for hiding food in! Yesterday was the first time Bethany decided to throw her bowl of food onto the floor… oh its going to be fun!

Gran came to visit on Thursday and we went for a lovely walk; luckily the heavens didn’t open until we were nearly back at home. We both ended up drenched!

Saturday took us down to Southampton for Martin and Lou’s engagement party, which was fantastic. Bethany was a little angel.

On Tuesday we had a trip to London, which was a long day, but good fun. Bethany went to Mark’s work to meet some of his colleagues and then we met up with Emily, who is now on maternity leave.

This weekend is Ellie’s wedding, so fingers crossed that the sun shines and then on Sunday, more sunshine is required as it is the St Andrew’s Road BBQ.

Its now only 9 days until we arrive in France for our weeks holiday….needless to say we are VERY EXCITED.
