Long time no blog….. well it’s happened – I have left my twenties behind and hit my 3rd decade. The reason there hasn’t been a blog update is that I basically managed to draw out the celebrations for about 2 weeks!!!

Gran and Grandad D, Gran and Grandpa Henderson, Aunty Helen, Mummy, Daddy and Bethany all went to Alton Towers for the day on April 20th. Whilst the Grans entertained Bethany the rest of us ran around and got the adrenalin pumping – OBLIVION was by far the winner on the ‘ARRRRRRRRRGHHHHH’ stakes.

Gran and Grandad D came back down to Reading with us and stayed for the week. DIY jobs completed included removing the fitted wardrobes from our room, removing carpet, two trips to the dump, putting up toilet roll holder and fitting our shelves in the airing cupboard. Now we have to paint the bedroom this week!

On my birthday G&G D kindly babysat whilst I got my hair done and had lunch with friends. I got back to find a lovely bunch of flowers from Mark with a note telling me to be ready at 2000 to go for dinner. We had a wonderful night and Mark continued to spoil me for another two days afterwards. I had so much fun it’s certainly made the transition to ‘being old’very enjoyable.

Mark has this week off work so we went for our first camping trip down to Hamble for a couple of nights. Martin and Lou came over on the first night for a BBQ which was great fun. The following day we went for a lovely walk through Victoria Park… camping was definitely a success.

Photos added to the end of April set!
