Easter
We have just had the most wonderful easter en famille… Bethany is amazing - I’m biased, but she really is!
She is changing so quickly – her actions are becoming more calculated and deliberate now and everything is a target to be grabbed and put in her mouth… she’s not even crawling and we’re starting to baby proof areas!
The baby wipes packets make a scrunchy sound so they’re a good target – oh, and apparently they taste good too!
Last night Bethany removed my glasses from my face and started licking the lenses – they did need a clean!
A dirty nappy is also apparently a good grab… luckily we managed to grab that one back before it went in the mouth, we weren’t as quick with the dettol cloth, so Bethany’s mouth should be disinfected!!!!
She still lies so peacefully when she’s asleep, with both arms in the air, her little spiky hair sticking up and yep… you’ve guessed it… the blankets in her mouth!!! When Mark and I go in to say goodnight before we go to bed I still can’t believe she’s really ours.
Easter was very social… on Friday we had the first BBQ of the year, with some friends of ours. It was lovely to be able to sit out in the garden with a cheeky glass of pimms. On Saturday we went over to Fairford and had dinner with the Fairford crowd. It is always good to catch up with everyone.
On Tuesday evening Bethany and I went over to stay with Gran and Grandpa Henderson and then drove to Cardiff to see Great Grandma Willis again on Wednesday.
